Medicare/Insurance Payment
Medicare and other insurance companies cover most of the medical
equipment and supplies that we carry. Medicare
and Private Insurance cover the cost of an electric wheelchair
or scooter if you qualify. The insurance companies
usually pay for 80% of the equipment, and you or your secondary
insurance will be responsible for the reminder of the balance
(20%).
If you choose EuliCare Medical as your provider, we will file
all of the necessary paper work for you, and under certain circumstances,
even waive the 20% uncovered fees. We
Do Not participate in HMO.
We will bill Medicare for you if you live in Michigan or surrounding
states, but if you live in states other than the states that we
bill for, you may be require to pay us up front, and we will file
your claims with Medicare so that you're reimbursed.
To qualify for Medicare coverage/reimbursement, your doctor and/or
physical therapist must write a prescription and fill out a few
forms pertaining to your treatment. Medicare may approve your
request for a scooter or wheelchair, depending on the answers
your doctor/therapist writes on the forms.

Lift Chairs: Medicare will pay only a part of the total
cost for a lift chair. So we require that you make the total payment
up front and we will file your claims with Medicare, and they
will send the reimbursement directly to you. For reimbursement,
you will need to obtain a prescription from your doctor along
with some other forms.
Wheelchair Lifts: Medicare
and most insurance companies do not cover lifts for wheelchairs/scooters,
but some auto makers will reimburse you up to $1000.00 for the
cost of the lift if you are leasing/purchased a new vehicle. For
